Teenager taken to hospital after accident with bus in city center of Norwich

Police said the girl did not seem fatal injuries.


11:18 They were called after the accident, which involved a bus Anglia at St Stephens Street, West legate and Rampant Horse by Street Junction.

Police were traffic management, and warned of delays in the area, but the road reopened shortly before noon.

Philip Eden, operations manager at Anglian Bus, said: "It appears that the pedestrian effectively entered the side of the bus as it was passing.


"We'll be looking at the CCTV. Police released the vehicle and driver for everything from his point of view must have been satisfactory, then everything is back up and running again, but obviously we will be looking into the matter internally to make sure that nothing untoward happened. "
