Pensioner who died in car accident near Pitlochry that injured four other names like Marion Hosie

The 80-year-old, who was a passenger in a vehicle involved in the collision of two cars, died at the scene, while four others were taken to Nine wells Hospital.


A retiree died in a car accident in which four people were injured, was appointed.

Marion Hosie, 80, was a passenger in a Volkswagen Golf that was in a collision with a Vauxhall Insignia in A924 Pitlochry to Killiecrankie Road, near Pitlochry, shortly after 16 o'clock yesterday.

Ms Hosie, of Glasgow, died at the scene.

The driver of the Golf, a woman of 69 years, is at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee in serious condition.

A man of 49, who was driving the Insignia and two female passengers, aged 77 and five, are in Ninewells with milder injuries.

The road was closed for several hours to allow investigators to examine the scene flaws.

Scotland Police appealed for witnesses.
