A WOMAN has died in a fire in a house.
Emergency services were called to a property in Leyton Drive, the Hilton area of Inverness, around 7:45 a.m..
Three neighboring properties were evacuated and the road was closed as firefighters tackled the blaze.
No one else was injured.
The investigation of the police and the fire has started and joint families are being contacted the woman.
